Being of Service
Charity of the Month
Each month, we feature a charity with ties to our community that we support as our Charity of the Month! You can support this charity and your community by attending our "Give Big!" Donations Classes on Sunday evenings from 6:15-7:45pm. This month, Sarah Martin nominated Food for Life's Sandipani Muni Secondary School.

Food for Life's Sandipani Muni Secondary School in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, is located about three hours south of New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh is one of India's most impoverished states. Food for Life is a non-profit humanitarian organization that has been making Vrindavan a better place for its citizens for the last 10 years. They provide education, medical care, food, clothing and skills training to those suffering from unimaginable poverty, chronic hunger and illness.
Because of Sandipani Muni School, children who would otherwise be left to live on the streets begging for food now have the opportunity to receive an education and a chance at a real future. The eyes of the sweet babies there glow with an intensity that communicates what is often (already) a very tough life history...but they also shine with a sweetness and light that instantly reminds you that we are all connected and share the same divine soul. The children are playful and disarming and hold your hand as they show you their home, Sandipani Muni School. Like me (Sarah), you would fall in love.
